【AN-AN KAIYUAN】 A 42-year-old mommy, welcomed herBABY through IVF+PGT-A+PRP!

I've longed to find a companion for my first child for years, but after five years of trying, there's still no good news.
Considering the high cost of IVF, we opted for artificial insemination initially.
Unfortunately, both attempts resulted in only a "faint positive" pregnancy test.
 
Dr. Pan suggested skipping ahead to IVF with preimplantation genetic screening to minimize the risk of miscarriage due to my advanced maternal age. At 42 years old, we decided to take the leap in hopes of welcoming a second child as soon as possible.
 
The first round of egg retrieval yielded five embryos, but all were found to be abnormal.
Devastated, yet encouraged by Dr. Pan, we decided to give it another shot.
The second round resulted in seven embryos, and finally, one was found to have normal chromosomes.
It felt like winning the lottery with a 1 in 12 chance!
 
Motherhood isn't something you can purchase; my heart was exhausted.
Finally, we reached the stage of embryo transfer, but my endometrium wasn't cooperating, causing the cycle to be halted.
Dr. Pan suggested a new approach with PRP to thicken the endometrium.
As soon as my period arrived, I returned to the clinic.
Finally, my endometrium met the standard, and I successfully became pregnant.
 
After much anticipation, against all odds, the selected embryo made it to 38 weeks.
My second child has finally arrived! It's been a challenging journey, but every ounce of effort was worth it.
 
I'm deeply grateful to the team at AnAn IVF and the obstetrics team for their meticulous care, enabling me to fulfill my dream of having a beautiful second child at 42 years old. :)
