On February 25th, 2024,TSRM Southern Region Academic Symposium took place in Kaohsiung. Professor Tsai Eing-Mei gave a lecture focusing on PCOS.

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is the most common issue leading to anovulatory infertility.
 
The treatment guidelines from 2023 recommend:
First-line: Oral ovulation-inducing medications
Second-line: Injectable medications
Third-line: In vitro fertilization (IVF)
 
Dr.Tsai Eing-Mei emphasized that achieving the maximum number of eggs while simultaneously attaining the highest pregnancy rates with the lowest risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome represents the optimal treatment approach.
 
PCOS is a prevalent gynecological disorder, and after treatment, the pregnancy rates are high. Therefore, it is worth continuously focusing on sharing more clinical experiences.
